AMY SIMS
Amy is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, find authentic community, and discover their purpose within the local church. As Hope City’s Connections Pastor, she provides leadership for our Connections Ministry while also overseeing worship and other key ministry areas, equipping teams and leaders to serve with excellence and care.
Known for her strategic thinking, creativity, and genuine love for people, Amy enjoys building healthy systems that remove barriers and make ministry feel personal. Whether she’s leading worship, developing leaders, planning church-wide initiatives, or welcoming first-time guests, her desire is for every person to feel seen, valued, and connected.
Amy has been married to her husband, Josh, for over 23 years, and together they have four children. Their family’s journey has also includes foster care, a ministry that has deeply shaped their faith and strengthened their compassion for others.
Outside of ministry, Amy loves getting lost in a great historical fiction novel, and spending time with her family. Whether she’s at the beach or relaxing by the pool, she’s happiest when making memories with the people she loves.
